Happy Monday!

today i woke up with a big huge smile.
sat up in my bed and thought for a little while.
looked up and saw no sunshine, instead a load of rain.
but that didn't stop me smiling because i got alot to gain.
skipped to college didn't walk, sat on the bus and listened to the words laura marling spoke

today is happy monday.
and im feeling really grand
got my monthly paycheque
and now im heading for the sand
don't know where the futures taking me
don't know what its got planned but today is happy monday
and i wish you were holding my hand.

i stop off at your work and i come to pick you up.
we drive along the road singing along to somewhere in my heart
we park outside your house and you pick up all your things
we have a cup of tea and we drive off with the wind
